Sony has launched the latest member of their Alpha ILCE family – the Sony Alpha 6000<\/strong>,an interchangeable lens mirror-less camera.<\/p>\n

The successor to Sony\u2019s critically acclaimed NEX-6, the A6000 has the world\u2019s fastest auto-focusing system among interchangeable lens APS-C cameras.<\/em> The camera features 25 contrast-detection and 179 phase-detection points and is capable of focus speeds of just 0.06 seconds. A6000 can shoot 11-frames per second with subject tracking in continuous shooting mode.<\/p>\n

Measuring 120mm x 66.9mm x 45.1mm and weighing 344g, A6000 looks lot like NEX-6. The noticeable difference is on top where the control dials sit next to each other in A6000 than being stacked like on the NEX-6. The camera can be used with many accessories such as microphone or an external flash.<\/p>\n

A6000 features a 24.3 Megapixel Exmor APS-C CMOS sensor with a dimension of 23.5X15.6mm and is paired with Sony’s latest Bionz X-image processor. The camera allows an ISO range of 100 to 25,600, and is capable of shooting high quality images under any lighting condition. A6000 can capture Full HD 1080p movie recording at 60\/50\/24 fps.<\/p>\n

On the rear side, A6000 packs an OLED electronic viewfinder with 1,440k dots which offers 100% frame coverage and 3-inch LCD screen which can tilt up 90 degrees and down 45 degrees, with 921,600 dots. There are also plenty of customizable buttons which can give quick access to any one of 47 assignable functions.<\/p>\n

Sony A6000<\/strong> also comes with built-in Wi-Fi and NFC making the camera compatible with smartphones or tablets for sharing of images, or using the external devices for remote shootings with a live image preview. A microHDMI port allows the camera to directly connect a TV.<\/p>\n

Sony Alpha 6000 Price Details<\/h3>\n

The Sony A6000 will be available in April in either black or silver for about US$650 (equivalent of Rs 40,400) body-only, or $800 bundled with a 16-50-mm kit lens.<\/strong><\/p>\n
