The function was also attended by Union Minister Shri Shashi Tharoor, Tourism Minister Shri A P Anil Kumar, Mayor K Chandrika, District Panchayat Vice-President Rufus Daniel, Councillors Sudhir Khan and Gladis Alex.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been allotted with a sum of<strong> Rs 8 crore<\/strong> and will be effectively used for developing the tourist facilities of Kovalam. <strong>A pathway from Samudra beach to Harbour has been proposed as a part of the project.<\/strong> The pathway will be made in the most attractive way. Plans are also there to set up a Tourist Facilitation centre at Kovalam.
