The Xcent compact sedan was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2014 that held in February. Based on the Grand i10, the Hyundai Xcent is a replacement of the Accent sedan which was discontinued last year.<\/p>\n<p>The Xcent is available in 3 Trims- Base, S and SX. The styling of the Hyundai Xcent is similar to the Grand i10 hatchback. The car sports a swept back headlamps and wrap-around tail lamps with chrome inserts. It has a diamond cut alloy wheels and door handles with chrome highlights. On the inside the Xcent gets dual tone beige and black interiors first in the segment. There is also an arm rest and an increased boot space.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-17304\" alt=\"Xcent Front\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/03\/Xcent-Front.jpg\" width=\"504\" height=\"369\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Xcent is powered by the same engine that powers the Grand i10 &#8211; newly developed second generation 1.1-litre U2 CRDi diesel and the 1.2-litre Kappa dual VTVT petrol. The petrol engine provides 83PS of power at 6000rpm and 111.8Nm of torque with a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.1kmpl. It comes matched to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel engine can deliver 72PS at 4000rpm and 180.4Nm between 1750 and 2500rpm with a mileage of 24.4kmpl. \u00a0The diesel variant is available only in 5-speed manual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-17305\" alt=\"Xcent Interior\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/03\/Xcent-Interior.jpg\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/03\/Xcent-Interior.jpg 640w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/03\/Xcent-Interior-120x90.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Xcent comes with climate control system, cooled glove box and rear AC vents. The music system has Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in for connectivity. It also has a 1GB on-board storage capacity. The top end variant gets a segment first smart key with push-button start and reverse parking camera. ABS is optional for S and SX trims.
