Renault unveiled the face lifted Fluence<\/strong> in India at the Auto Expo 2014 held last month in Delhi. Now the 2014 Fluence is officially out in India with a starting price of Rs 13.99lakh.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The most notable change is the redesigned grille which comes with a larger Renault logo embellished in the centre. Other changes include all-new bumpers and headlamps with Day Light Running LEDs, designed along the lines of the other Renault cars like the Koleos. The only change to the side of the car is the design for the 16-inch alloy wheels while the rear sees not revisions.<\/p>\n

On the inside, the Fluence comes with new upholstery and a dual-tone soft-touch dashboard. An illuminated glove box is provided to give better accessibility during the night. An exhaustive equipment list consist of new touch screen infotainment system with integrated satellite navigation system, new Arkamys audio system with eight speakers, dual zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, cruise control, parking sensors, rain sensing wipers and rear A\/C vents among others.<\/p>\n

Fluence is equipped with safety features such as ABS, ESP, Brake Assist, ASR, seat belt with pre-tensioner, dual airbags and force limiter for occupant safety.<\/p>\n

The mechanicals of 2014 Renault Fluence remains unchanged. Renault Fluence is powered by 1.5-litre dCi motor producing 110 PS of power and peak torque of 240 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The diesel engine returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.4 km\/l.<\/p>\n

The Renault Fluence will compete against Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Jetta, Hyundai Elantra, Chevrolet Cruze and the upcoming Toyota Corolla.<\/p>\n

Renault is offering the Fluence in two trims, namely the E2 and E4 diesel.<\/p>\n
