\u2018Colour Me Crazy Customs\u2019<\/a><\/h2>\n

Nihas Salahudeen too faced the question \u201cWhat to do next?\u201d after completing his graduation. As like many he planned to do his masters. However, destiny had some other plans for him. Destiny wanted him to use his painting skills rather than confining to a masters degree. \u201cI used to paint from my schooldays. But I took it seriously when my English teacher Sukku Joshi bought me a set of canvas on my birthday. However, I started using it when I was recovering from an accident. I did around 120 paintings that time. Even though it took some time to sell those paintings, I had arrived at a conclusion by then that \u201cArt is my life\u201d! I\u2019m crazy about automotives and I decided to mix art with it to develop custom painting. That\u2019s how \u2018Colour Me Crazy Customs\u2019 (CMCC) got its birth<\/i>\u201d, adds Nihas.<\/p>\n

First experiences!<\/h3>\n

He decided to experiment the art of airbrush painting through his venture. Airbrush painting was very much popular in western countries then. \u201cCustom painting was slowly getting popular in Trivandrum then. Two of my friends Unni and Mithun joined with me. We first worked on our friend Balu\u2019s bike. Since he got a big friends circle, I was sure that many people will see our work. As expected many saw our work and it got popular. Our first order came in December 2011 from Bangalore. That was to do a \u2018Valentino Rossi 46\u2019 (VR46) edition in that bike. The project didn\u2019t takeoff well and I got distressed. It was then my friends called me back to Singapore. There I got the chance to learn more about airbrush painting. I\u2019m always indebted to them\u201d<\/i>, adds Nihas. He then took his friends to Singapore and they got the chance to do a project for Sentosa resort. They designed 150 theme based recycle bins for the resort. With the confidence and capital gained from the project, they got back here and successfully customized the bike. CMCC growth begins there.<\/p>\n

Going steadily..<\/h3>\n

The credit of CMCC\u2019s growth goes to Nihas, his team and friends. Started on November 2011, CMCC has now grown as one of the best in this business. They are getting orders from all over India. \u201cWe are getting orders from places like Bangalore, Delhi etc. From every work we are still learning new things. Try to learn from anyone or everything, even if it\u2019s not related to your field. \u2018Once you think that you know everything, your growth stops there\u2019 is the one thing I keep in my mind always. Customer satisfaction is really a responsibility. When a person approaches me, I have to deliver my work in a way that makes him happy. However, the complete credit for the design goes to that person only. It was his concept that I implemented<\/i>. There are many who asks that I could come down to Bangalore or Delhi to customize their vehicle. I sternly say that you come down to Trivandrum and I do it for you! It\u2019s a firm response to those who say that Trivandrum has got nothing. This city is a growing hub. Try to look this city from another angle; you can find the oldest car to the latest Rolls Royce Phantom here<\/i>!\u201d<\/p>\n

For a free and brighter future..<\/h3>\n

Nihas got some bright future plans. If everything goes in the way he plans, he will be seen as in charge of a small institute of arts which he plans to open in 3-4 years time.\u00a0 \u201cI like to cultivate knowledge in the coming generation. What all skills I know, I like to pass it onto them. This institution will allow people to express themselves. Painting is all about looking things with a different perspective. When I took up custom painting, many raised their eyebrows on me. What\u2019s wrong in a painting job? Every job has got its dignity. Life\u2019s not about being an engineer or a doctor. There are many who love to chase their passions and live freely, but our society\u2019s attitude creates a hindrance. This should be changed! Youngsters should be free and happy. I want the youth to think better, live better and does live better<\/i>\u201d, he adds. Nihas plans to focus on painting hyper realistic images in future. He believes that unleashing your limits is freedom; expressing that freedom visually is painting!<\/p>\n

Always in love with \u2018Entecity\u2019!<\/h3>\n

Nihas is a person who adores this city a lot! He admits that the more you live here, the more you fall in love with this city. \u201cIt\u2019s the best city I have ever lived in. I have been to many places, but no one has given me the peace of mind like this city gives. I love to have night rides, have my favourite milk shake, food, enjoy the rain etc. This city is so calm and beautiful. The most serene beaches are here. My school, my friends, everyone close to me is from Trivandrum. It\u2019s a \u2018no nonsense\u2019 city to anyone, except from the administrative part. Let everyone come down to our city and enjoy its tranquillity. Having a tea with your best friends at this beautiful city is the best feeling that no other city or a thing can offer<\/i>\u201d, adds a proud Nihas.<\/p>\n
