Now it\u2019s Motor Vehicle Department&#8217;s turn to adopt WhatsApp.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure road safety in the state, Kerala Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) has decided to connect with its citizen in a high-tech way using WhatsApp. MVD has issued directive to its officials to install the popular inter-platform messaging application on their smartphones.<\/p>\n<p>With the new facility, people can report traffic violations such as road accidents, helmet-less riding, use of banned sun films, suspicious number plates and rash driving. They can also report traffic jams and overload in vehicles. \u00a0People can report traffic violations by sending a message or by uploading photos and videos including the place and time of the incident.
