The winners of the 44th Kerala State Film Awards have been announced today by the Sports & Cinema Minister Shri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. Interestingly, it was the “New Generation” films that bagged most of the state film awards.<\/p>\n
The award for the best film has been given to Crime No 89, directed by Sudevan. Fahad Fazil and Lal were adjudged the best actors for their performance in the film Artist and Zachriyayuda Garbinikkal respectively. The award for the best actress was given to Ann Augustin for the movie Artist. Suraj venjaramoodu who won the national award for best actor has won the state award for the best actor for comedy. Meanwhile Drishyam was selected as the most popular film.<\/p>\n
