German luxury carmaker Audi<\/a> has launched the updated version of its flagship model Audi A8L<\/strong> at a price of Rs1.12 crore.<\/p>\n

Audi A8L gets cosmetic upgrades and is the first car in its segment to feature Matrix LED headlights. Other major changes are the plusher interiors and revised dampers to improve ride quality.<\/p>\n

\"2014<\/p>\n

The unique selling point of the Audi A8L is the ‘Audi Exclusive<\/strong>‘ which offers customers countless combinations of customisation options, to customise and personalise the car as per customer’s choice. A8L will be available in 100 exterior colours, 23 interior colours and 12 options for wood inserts.\u00a0 Seats embossed with personal logos will also be part of the customisation program.<\/p>\n

\"2014<\/p>\n

The A8 L will be available in 2 engines options -a 3.0-litre TDI V6 and a 4.2-litre TDI V8 diesel engine.\u00a0 The 3.0 litre TDI V6 will produce 250PS while the 4.2-litre TDI V8 engine will produce 385PS. There is also a petrol variant which is powered by 4.0-litre TFSI delivering an impressive 435PS.<\/p>\n

\"2014<\/p>\n

The Quattro and Audi drive select system come as standard. The transmission is performed by the 8-speed tiptronic gearbox. The engines have been improved for producing more power and are more efficient. The car also gets revised suspension as part of the updates.<\/p>\n

The base model Audi A8L diesel is priced at Rs 1.12 crore which is between the BMW 7 Series at Rs 1.02 crore and the more expensive Jaguar XJ L at Rs 1.25 crore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
