The elections are over and the dust has died down. Modi is on his way to the PM’s chair. However, very few people know that behind his historic success, there is an invariably Malayali touch also.<\/p>\n
K Kailasanathan<\/strong> who has been working has Modi’s Chief Principal Secretary for the past 8 years and K Jayachandran<\/strong> an Ayurveda doctor at Ahmadabad who has been in charge of co-ordinating Modi’s campaign in the southern states as well as Varanasi are both Malayalees.<\/p>\n Kailasanathan who is known as KK in Gujarat is Modi’s most trusted official. This 1979 batch IAS officer who hails from Kozhikode is an expert administrator in Modi’s government. He is also reputed to be the mastermind behind the government’s operations and the media often describe him as ‘The Most Powerful Babu’.<\/p>\n KK was in charge of the Town Planning Department when he was invited to join the Chief Minister’s office where he was appointed as the Principal Secretary. Soon he was promoted as the Chief Principal Secretary and became the most powerful bureaucrat in Modi’s government.<\/p>\n Though it is often said as a joke that you can meet a Malayalee even on the Moon, the fact is that we Malayalees often turn up at the right place at the right time.<\/p>\n If reports are true 705 people shortlisted for mission to Mars in 2024 includes a Malayalee that too from Trivandrum!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The elections are over and the dust has died down.
