YZF-R25 concept was first showcased at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/bmw-launches-s1000r-in-india\/\" target=\"_blank\">BMW launches S1000R in India<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/yamaha-unveils-mt-125-to-take-on-ktm-duke-125\/\" target=\"_blank\">Yamaha unveils MT-125 to take on KTM Duke 125<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Yamaha YZF-R25<\/strong> carries lightweight body and design DNA from Yamaha\u2019s R-series lineage.\u00a0 The bike sports a neatly sculpted windscreen and the fuel tank carries edgy design with subtle knee space. The new bike has reverse-slat twin headlights, an air duct, LED rear lights, aluminium alloy wheels, split seats while other features are derived from previous YZF-R designs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-18423\" alt=\"Yamaha YZF-R25 launched| Specs Detailed\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/05\/Yamaha-YZF-R25.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"336\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Super sport speedometer sitting inside the fairing comes with shift timing indicator identical to the YZF-R1, fuel consumption indicator, gear position mention, oil change indicator, trip and odo-meter, engine temperature warning, FI diagnostic and a timer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-18425\" alt=\"Yamaha R25 Instrument Cluster\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/05\/Yamaha-R25-Instrument-Cluster-Screen-Shot-768x434.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"347\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/05\/Yamaha-R25-Instrument-Cluster-Screen-Shot-768x434.jpg 768w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/05\/Yamaha-R25-Instrument-Cluster-Screen-Shot.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yamaha R25 gets a superior inline 2 cylinder 250cc engine governed by DOHC direct-drive camshaft with 8 valves on total. This high compression combustion chamber is liquid cooled and heat is dissipated via front radiator. The engine is capable of producing 36 PS of maximum power @ 12,000 rpm and 22.1 Nm peak torque @ 10,000 rpm.
