Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple gets world class security to counter any kind of untoward incidents including terrorist attacks. The security system implemented here are in lines with that of the Parliament.<\/p>\n
Bollards and most modern equipment system are implemented to beef up the security. Giant automatic bollards are installed on roads that lead to the four entrance of the temple. \u00a0These bollards are normally underground but would spring up to the road surface to block vehicles in emergency situations. They are capable of blocking vehicles that rush at speeds of up to 80 Kmph.<\/p>\n

There are also roadblocks operating on hydraulic technology at various points around the temple to regulate road traffic during rush times. \u00a0These roadblocks can be operated from the control room<\/p>\n
The police will also examine whether the temple premises can be categorised as no-fly zone. Presently only Taj Mahal has allotted such kind of security. For this, a clearance from the Centre is necessary and efforts are on to get this. Declaration of the temple area as a no-fly zone may require alterations in the aviation map.<\/p>\n
Police has also installed sensors and additional surveillance cameras at all crucial spots in the secret vaults holding the treasures and other crucial spots in the temple.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
