The poor home will be renovated and more facilities will be added. The collector is in favour of constructing the proposed bus terminal at Attakulangara School.<\/p>\n<p>A waste treatment plant will be constructed on the land on Karamana-Killipalam Bypass Road. Currently, garbage is dumped on the 6-acre plot and its environs lying next to Chalai on the Attakulangara-Killipalam stretch. During rainy season, water-logging and garbage cause hardships to the people living nearby. Initially 2-ton mobile waste treatment plant will be installed. The mobile treatment plant will have no environmental impact.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>To make Trivandrum a &#8216;slum-free&#8217; city, the collector has envisaged master plan on rehabilitation for the families living in slum areas.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To make Trivandrum a &#8216;slum-free&#8217; city, the collector has envisaged master plan on rehabilitation for the families living in slum areas.
