Porsche, part of Volkswagen group, has launched its most awaited SUV Macan in India at a price of Rs 98.18 lakh. The SUV will be offered in 2 variants – Macan S Diesel and Macan Turbo which costs Rs 1.09 cr.<\/p>\n

Macan offers sports car level performance while retaining decent off road ability. The car offers comfortable ride over rough patches on the road.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Porsche has included all the very expensive optional extras. Macan sports a multi-function sport steering wheel, electrically operated tailgate, air suspension system, lighting package, bi-xenon headlamps etc. Other features include three-zone climate control and a high end audio system.<\/p>\n

The Macan S Diesel measures 4681 mm in length, 1923 mm in width, 1624 mm in height and has a 2805 mm wheelbase. The car is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder engine that produces 245 hp of power from 4000-4500 rpm and 580 Nm of torque from 1750-2500 rpm. It can accelerate from 0-100 km\/h in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km\/h.<\/p>\n

The Macan Turbo petrol measures 4699 mm in length and has a 2807 mm wheelbase. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km\/h in just 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 266 km\/h.<\/p>\n
