Earlier there were reports that Google plans to discontinue its Nexus line-up in favor of the new Android Silver series. But the company denied such plans at I\/O 2014, suggesting a Nexus 6 device is in the making.<\/p>\n

A new report by AndroidPolice say that Motorola is reportedly working on a new device codenamed ‘Shamu’ that may just be the Nexus 6. The website further said that, it has got confirmation from three sources that the device exists and that it is indeed a Nexus phablet.<\/p>\n

Nexus 6 Rumoured Tech Specs<\/h3>\n

Nexus 6 is rumoured to sport a 5.9-inch display with 1080×1920 pixel screen resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It may also have lightweight, polycarbonate body, and come packed with 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM. According to the reports, the smartphone will have a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front camera.<\/p>\n

The device will come with Android L and house a 3,100 mAh Li-Polymer battery. In terms of connectivity, it may boast of Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and micro-USB slot. Google is expected to include a 64-bit ARM processor on the Nexus 6 as the Android L supports 64-bit processor.<\/p>\n

Expected Release Date and Price<\/h3>\n

Google is yet to announce the release date of Nexus 6 but it is most likely to have an October-November release. Nexus 5 was launched in October last year. Nexus 6 is very likely to be way cheaper than iPhone 6 and Galaxy S5, going by the price of their predecessors.<\/p>\n
