Make a Difference empowers children living in orphanages and street shelters to discover their true strengths and unleash their full potential. It is a movement of young people taking ownership of the institutionalized children in our community.<\/p>\n
The organisation has volunteers who implement projects that provide children with the skills that guarantee employment, role models they can relate to and exposure that helps them dream big. It is India\u2019s largest youth volunteer program with a volunteer base of close to 2000 who handle more than 5000 kids in 23 cities.<\/p>\n
An applicant who wishes to join MAD can apply for:<\/p>\n
1) EdSupport Project in which volunteers provide after school support in Math, Science and English to our children.
\n2) Discover Project in which volunteers mentor the children to make the right career decisions.
\n3) Propel Project in which volunteers empower our children to choose the right career path by providing them expert guidance and counseling.
\n4) Fundraising through which the volunteers engage the community and raise funds for our activities.
\n5) Various intern positions like Writer, Photographer, Designer and Videographer are available too.<\/p>\n
MAD Trivandrum is active in 4 centers : Sree Chitra Home(East Fort) , LMS , Mahila Mandiram(Poojapura) and Sacred Hearts(Nalanchira).<\/p>\n
