Swedish car maker Volvo has quietly launched a sportier version of the S60, the 2014 Volvo S60 R-Design at a price of Rs. 39.36 lakh<\/strong>. The 2014 Volvo S60 R-Design <\/a>comes with a bunch of minor cosmetic modifications to the S60.<\/p>\n

On the exterior car gets a redesigned front bumper with a low, black honeycomb air dam and a blackened grille with an R-Design badge. The 18-inch alloy wheels are five-spoke using diamond cut. Exhaust pipe also gets a chrome touch. Other minor tweaks include silver finished wing mirror and a new paint shade called Passion Red.<\/p>\n

Coming to the interiors, R-Design gets sportier heated front bucket seats and paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Feature wise it has a new audio system with 10GB storage space, satellite navigation system and a rear view camera.<\/p>\n

Volvo S60 R-Design is powered by the new 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that delivers a top power output of 181bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm.\u00a0 The engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox. According to Volvo, the car has an impressive fuel economy of 25kmpl.\u00a0 The presence of \u2018i-Art<\/strong>\u2019 technology and new automatic gearbox plays an important role in its high fuel economy. This technology monitors the procedure at every fuel injector and adjusts the pressure for every combustion cycle.<\/p>\n
