Shwetha Menon gives birth to a baby girl in front of the camera. She was blessed with a baby girl on September 27th at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai. As a part of shooting of the movie ‘Kalimannu’, her delivery was shot live on the camera. ‘Kalimannu’ is directed by Blessy and is tells the story about emotional bond shared by a mother and her fetus during her pregnancy period. Various stages of pregnancy are highlighted in the film.\u00a0Biju Menon plays the male lead character in the film.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe partner should know the suffering faced by a pregnant woman every moment and this is an opportunity to make people aware of a mothers sacrifice” – Shwetha Menon said when she gave her consent to Blessy for shooting. She also said, when a woman is pregnant, the society and people around her will treat her like a patient and this is injustice. She also wanted to share the thought that moment of giving birth to a baby is not be enjoyed by the mother alone but also by her partner.<\/p>\n
Shwetha’s husband Sreevalsan Menon, Films director Blessy and the camera man were present at the hospital while she gave birth to a baby girl.<\/p>\n
