The door-to-door delivery is the first step in introducing an all-encompassing cooperative distribution network including Nanma, Neethi and Triveni stores to serve consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Door-to-Door sales will be launched in corporation and municipal areas of Trivandrum, Kochi and Kozhikode. In the remaining districts the home delivery service will be launched from October.<\/p>\n<p>To avail Consumerfed&#8217;s home delivery service, consumers will have to send a text message or email to the nearest Consumerfed outlet, listing their requirements, and it will be delivered within an hour. Ration cards need not be produced to buy items from the delivery system.<\/p>\n<p>Consumerfed will deliver essential commodities at prices <strong>20%<\/strong> below the market rate. The commodities include sugar, rice, coconut oil, dry chilli, coriander, green gram etc. Other grocery items would be sold at prices <strong>10%<\/strong> below the market price. Each Consumerfed outlet will have around 350 products including branded stationery and cosmetics items.<\/p>\n<p>Delivery operators will be employees from Consumerfed outlets.\u00a0 Store operators have been offered a commission of 4% on provisions and 8% on sale of stationery and cosmetics. Consumerfed plans to open 25 outlets in various parts of Kollam Corporation and 10 in Karunagappally municipal area in the first phase.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the month-long Consumerfed&#8217;s Onam Fair Markets will come to an end on September 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The State Cooperatives Consumers&#8217; Federation Ltd (Consumerfed) will start home delivery service from next month.
