Now it seems like <a href=\"http:\/\/androidonesmartphones.com\/android-one-launch-india\/\" target=\"_blank\">Android One smartphones will make their debut in India in a couple of weeks.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Google has sent invitations for an event in India on September 15. It is expected that the much-awaited Android One smartphones will be launched at the event. The invitation says &#8220;More details closer to the date!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Google announced its &#8216;Android One&#8217; initiative to bring in sub-$100 (around Rs 6,000) handsets aimed at bringing the next one billion population to the Android ecosystem. Google aims to capture a larger share of the entry-level segment. Indian companies Karbonn, Micromax and Spice are already confirmed partners for the Android One system. More Indian companies have reportedly joined the list since then.<\/p>\n<p>Android One phones offer a decent Android experience but at the fraction of the cost of full Android devices.
