{"id":20680,"date":"2014-09-26T15:53:13","date_gmt":"2014-09-26T10:23:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/?p=20680"},"modified":"2014-09-26T17:50:08","modified_gmt":"2014-09-26T12:20:08","slug":"let-the-world-speak-international-event-in-trivandrum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/let-the-world-speak-international-event-in-trivandrum\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cLet the World Speak!\u201d, International Community Sensitization program in Trivandrum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to address the issues faced by people with disabilities, Braille Without Borders Jyothirgamaya and Sahridhaya are planning to conduct an &#8220;<strong>International Community Sensitization<\/strong>&#8221; program in Trivandrum on 28<sup>th<\/sup> September at Shanghumukham Beach.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of International Community Sensitization program is to sensitize the community of Kerala about the numerous problems faced by persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The program aims to create an attitudinal change among the general public so that they may help people with disability whenever they can.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The theme of the programme is \u201c<strong>Let The World Speak<\/strong>!\u201d. Social change makers from different parts of the globe such as Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Nepal, India etc will be invited on stage to speak on various issues relating mainly to disability and marginalization.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20687\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20687\" class=\"wp-image-20687 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/09\/sahridhaya-speakers.jpg\" alt=\"sahridhaya-speakers\" width=\"560\" height=\"1084\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/09\/sahridhaya-speakers.jpg 362w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2014\/09\/sahridhaya-speakers-265x513.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-20687\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Speakers<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The sensitization programme will be followed by the mind blowing dance performance by the popular Nepali blind dancer named <strong>Sristi<\/strong> whose presently runs the NGO Blind Rocks which aims at empowering the blind by teaching dance.
