The sale which is to be held on 6th October is billed as India\u2019s largest discount sale ever.<\/p>\n<p>But it seems like Flipkart&#8217;s &#8216;Big Billion Day&#8217; sale is facing consumer backlash on social media. The backlash started when some consumers took the pain to check out whether these claims of discount were real or not. Turns out Flipkart has indeed increased the pricing of some products prior to the discount sale and is now selling those products in discounts in \u2018Big Billion Day\u2019 sale. A cheap technique to mislead consumers to thinking that, Flipkart is selling products on huge discounts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The consumers also say that offers advertised by Flipkart in the newspapers are not available on the website.<\/strong> That\u2019s not all; many consumers who attempted to make purchases on Flipkart were greeted with sold-out messages or server errors.
