IRCTC Connect, is now available for free download for all Android 4.1 users and above.<\/p>\n<p>With the new app travellers will be able to search and book rail tickets, check existing reservations or cancel them, and get upcoming journey alerts in the IRCTC Connect application.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20987\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/10\/irctc-connect-official-android-app-review.jpg\" alt=\"irctc-connect-official-android-app-review\" width=\"566\" height=\"323\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Customers can use their existing IRCTC website username and password to use the app. IRCTC Connect app also stores the passenger details that are added through the app so that passengers don\u2019t have to enter their details again and again.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>However the biggest drawback of the app is that IRCTC Connect app will not work between 8AM and 12 noon every day.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>During this time, travellers have to book their ticket from the IRCTC website. The synchronisation with the IRCTC website and IRCTC mobile app is also absent.<\/p>\n<p>IRCTC Mobile app was a long pending demand of passengers. With the new IRCTC Connect, railway ticket booking is now made simpler.
