Sergi Reitg, CEO of Imira Entertainment said, \u201cToonz Animation has a world-class pedigree in television and film. It is an exciting home for Imira Entertainment and a natural fit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-21045\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2014\/10\/imira-entertainment-toonz-trivandrum.jpg\" alt=\"imira-entertainment-toonz-trivandrum\" width=\"565\" height=\"265\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to a statement released by Toonz, the Trivandrum based company has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% stake in Imira Entertainment. Imira will continue to operate as a separate production and distribution entity with its existing management structure, but the companies will jointly exploit the opportunities and synergies created by the acquisition to offer combined content creation strength and global distribution. Imira will handle television and licensing rights for Toonz-produced content in regions including Europe, US, Latin America and Africa. Toonz will utilize its relationships in Asia and Pacific territories on behalf of Imira.<\/p>\n<p>Imira Entertainment is a producer and distributor of youth programmes and its productions incorporate the latest technologies for cross media exploitation such as TV, video, licensing, merchandising, mobile phones and publishing.<\/p>\n<p>Toonz Animation which was started in 1999 is currently situated in Trivandrum Technopark.
