KSEB introduces 24-hour call centre!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Long wait for redressal of power problems will soon be over for electricity consumers in the city. Kerala State Electricity Board has launched a 24-hour centralised call centre service for consumers to lodge their complaints.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>KSEB consumers can now dial <strong>1912<\/strong> to register their complaint.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Using the round the clock call-centre consumers can register complaints about power failure, line damage, billing anomalies and power theft and to seek online payment details.<\/p>\n<p>The system is equipped with an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) to register complaints even without employees. The callers will have to give their consumer number, post number and telephone number to the control room. The control room will pass the information to the mobile squad concerned, which will rush to rectify the trouble. KSEB is aiming to achieve a &#8220;within-an-hour&#8221; troubleshooting system.<\/p>\n<p>At Vydyuthi Bhavan, the KSEB headquarters in Trivandrum, a centralised customer service system have been introduced. A cash deposit machine has also been introduced at Vydyuthi Bhavan. Apart from Trivandrum the 24-hour call centre will be available in 100 electrical sections including Kozhikode, Ottappalam, Shoranur, Kottayam, Thiruvalla and Changanassery.
