There is something irresistible about these objects of art- some quaint, some contemporary, and you may never leave without taking home one.<\/p>\n<p>The crafts and ingenuity of our country\u2019s artisans in making these handmade things of beauty are truly incredible. Now you have a chance to step into a world of fine craft where the best talents of our country showcase their crafts and designs. On 20th November 2014, a curated fine craft exhibition cum sales event named \u201c<strong>Leela Bazaar<\/strong>\u201d is being conducted as a 3-day fair at Trivandrum Women\u2019s Club Kowdiar.<\/p>\n<p>Latha Kurien Rajeev, owner and curator of La Gallery 360, Trivandrum is the curator of this Fine Craft Event. Leela Bazaar aims to introduce the little known and vanishing crafts of our country which are surviving only with the support of NGOs and local communities. The fair aims to encourage all those unknown artisans and designers to step out of their workshops and studios and to share their talents with the world. An array of designers who are into creating one-of-a-kind wares in a variety of media will be there to display their craftsmanship to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The bazaar promises you a wide curated selection of handmade designer eco-friendly curios, exclusive designer selection of terracotta jewellery, attractive and useful bags, pop art design collectable home accessories and limited edition indo-western women\u2019s apparel for that chic look. You can also see a selection of organic cotton and natural dyed innerwear designed for comfort, organic insect repellents and also herbal hair oils and delectable baked and sandwich treats to take home . As their first project they have made handmade men\u2019s boxer shorts with naturally dyed organic cotton which are colourful, sustainable and what\u2019s more extremely comfortable.
