This is in turn is disrupting the laying of synthetic track around the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs heavy cranes would be involved in lifting the masts, it would not be wise to lay the track before it as the movement of the cranes are bound to damage the delicate synthetic surface,\u201d said N Mohan Kumar, chief engineer at the National Games to Indian Express.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Kerala Police Housing Co-operative Society (KPHCS), a wing of the Kerala Police, which is in charge of the installation flood lights said that the flood light towers are on their way from Mumbai and is expected to reach the site within a week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll works connected with the floodlights will be completed by December 25 and the stadium will be handed over to the authorities by then,\u201d said S Ganeshan of KPHCS.<\/p>\n<p>The floodlights will be installed during the night as the authorities have to block the traffic along one side of the road at Palayam<\/p>\n<p>The light masts are installed by Bajaj Electricals at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore.
