Kerala’s first Dolby Atmos mixing studio was opened at Aries Vismayas Max studio at Kinfra Park on 3rd January 2014. \u00a0Mayor K Chandrika inaugurated the mixing studio and actor Mohanlal was the chief guest.<\/p>\n

Dolby Atmos uses a combination of more channels and speakers \u2013 up to 128 discrete audio tracks and up to 64 unique speaker feeds. Dolby Atmos delivers \u201ca more natural and realistic sound-field, which transports people into the story with a life-like, sensory experience.\u201d This type of sound format was used in films like \u201cLife of Pi\u201d, \u201cBrave\u201d and \u201cDhoom 3\u201d. Using Dolby Atmos filmmakers can precisely position and move sounds anywhere in a theatre-even overhead-to heighten the realism and impact of every scene.<\/p>\n
Now with the opening of Dolby Atmos mixing studio at Vismayas Max Studio, filmmakers in Kerala will be able to make movies which are on par with the international standards.<\/p>\n
Aries Vismayas Max studio (formerly known as Vismayas Max Studio) was also the first DTS studio in Kerala. The studio has complete post-production facilities consisting of editing suits for both films and TV, a recording studio for song recordings, film dubbing, recording background music, sound effects and a DTS mixing floor both for regular films and animated films.<\/p>\n
Aries Group will also setup a planning to start a museum on the history of Malayalam cinema. Being started on the basis of an idea shared by Mohanlal, the museum will portray the history of Malayalam cinema as well as the acting life of Mohanlal.<\/p>\n
