The rest room cost around Rs25 lakh to build.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The wayside amenity centre is the first among the 25 planned rest rooms across the State.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There will be four toilets, two each for men and women, and urinals. The branded unit also has disabled-friendly toilets. The modern toilets will have a disposable toilet seat or a disinfectant spray which can be used on toilet cover before use. There will be a fee for using the toilets and two janitors will be appointed for round-the-clock cleaning. The unit will be leased out to reputed firms after inviting bids.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_22425\" style=\"width: 558px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-22425\" class=\"wp-image-22425 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2015\/02\/Take-a-rest.jpg\" alt=\"The proposed \u2018Take a Rest\u2019 toilet complex of Kerala Tourism \" width=\"548\" height=\"354\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-22425\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The proposed \u2018Take a Rest\u2019 toilet complex of Kerala Tourism<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The wayside amenity centre is the first among the 25 planned rest rooms across the State on 2-10 cents being made available to Kerala. \u00a0Each \u2018Take-A-Rest\u2019 will have facilities for refreshment, cloakroom, souvenir shop-cum-information kiosk, store for essentials, ATM, reservation check-in facilities, medicinal spa and space for parking.<\/p>\n<p>Three types of complexes &#8211; A, B, and C- had been worked out depending on the extent of land and the facilities offered. The \u2018A\u2019 type would cost Rs.50 lakh, \u2018B\u2019 Rs.25 lakh, and \u2018C\u2019 Rs. 10 lakh.
