As road safety is of paramount significance to the Government &#8216;Safety Ride&#8217; is being conducted in association with Cochin Corporation and Cochin Traffic police. More than 450 bikers are expected to participate in the event. Last year around 200 bikers took part in the event.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>More than 450 bikers are expected to participate this year, compared to last year&#8217;s turnout of 200.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Safety Ride focuses on safety awareness among teenagers and the event is gaining support from various bike clubs as well as well from the media and other educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The event will start at 7.30 am and will be covering all major routes of Kochi city and by 9.30 am the rally will wind up at the end point.
