Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) is all set to launch food outlets which aim to offer quality food items at reasonable prices to customers.<\/p>\n
The first two outlets will be opened in Chaithram hotel and Mascot Hotel in Trivandrum.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The first outlet will be opened in Chaithram hotel in Trivandrum. A take-away counter with a focus on modern cuisine will also be set up at Mascot hotel. Later the food outlet will be open all over the state.<\/p>\n
KTDC food outlets will serve diverse range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, snacks and beverages, all at reasonable prices.<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2019Through these outlets, we aim to provide quality traditional dishes at reasonable prices. Arrangements have already started at both hotels. After getting a feedback, our plan is to open a chain of such outlets in the state,\u2019\u2019 said KTDC chairman Vijayan Thomas to Indian Express.<\/p>\n
KTDC Food outlets will be modelled on the concept of wayside eateries and will be opened along the National Highway and MC Road.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The outlet at Chaithram is aimed at catering the hundreds of passengers arriving at the Trivandrum Central railway station and bus terminal daily. The food outlet will function in the space were hotel ran a \u2018thattukada\u2019 sometimes ago. At Mascot Hotel, the present Sayahna Garden restaurant will be revamped to open the outlet. To enhance the ambience, a seating arrangement on the lawn will also be there for the customers.<\/p>\n
