Technopark club, the sports and recreation facility for techies is all set for renovation. The renovation of the Technopark Club is aimed at introducing better facilities for the 46,000 techies working in the Technopark.<\/p>\n
Technopark officials have listed out facilities that will be seen in the Club after renovation. It includes a 2-screen multiplex with a seating capacity of 200, a food court that caters the varying tastes of the cosmopolitan populace, an executive lounge to entertain clients with food and drinks over business meetings and discussion rooms with facilities for multimedia presentation.<\/p>\n
Apart from this existing swimming pool, gymnasium and indoor games centre will be renovated. There will also be a kids play area and at least 2 additional badminton courts. That’s not all! There is a wish list for a wine and beer parlour or a bar, subject to availability of licence.<\/p>\n
Electronic Technology Parks-Kerala (ETPK) a society, who operates the Technopark, has invited request for proposals (RFPs) from companies to renovate the Technopark club.\u00a0 Though the date of opening of the tender was fixed for February 19, Technopark authorities have not opened the tender and a decision would be made only after a meeting of the board of directors of Technopark.<\/p>\n
There will be a hike in membership fee and usage charges. However, the facility charges shall be fixed in consultation with ETPK and the executive committee formed by ETPK for the club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
