The Kerala government, which is vigorously building up a start-up climate in the state, is offering a one-year fellowship to young graduates interested in working with technology start-ups and student entrepreneurs. Called as \u2018Technology Innovation Fellowship Programme\u2019 the programme aims towards promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship across the state.<\/p>\n
Implemented under the Kerala Startup Mission\u2019s Youth Entrepreneurship Programme the fellowship candidate will be a campaigner for technology start-up activities in the state and will conduct various events like entrepreneurship awareness camps, maker sessions, hackathons and ideathons in colleges and other institutions in Kerala.<\/p>\n
Fellowship applicants should have expertise in technology and experience in conducting programmes. The selection of the fellows will be made through an open invitation\/screening and interview of the shortlisted applicants. The fellowship will be for a period of 12 months<\/strong> and the volunteers will receive a fellowship of Rs 25,000 a month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Since its inception in 2006, more than 132 companies have successfully graduated from the Technopark Technology Business Incubator, which is now the \u201cKerala Startup Mission\u201d, and currently hosts 50 companies physically and 17 companies virtually at the Technopark facility, and 50 companies physically and 336 companies virtually at the Startup Village (ITIH TBI), a PPP TBI of Technopark TBI & MobMe.<\/p>\n![\"Technology](\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2015\/05\/KSM-30.04.151-365x513.jpg\")
