He said that the service of the air ambulance will be made available within 2 weeks for making speedy arrangements for surgeries on organ transplantation.<\/p>\n<p>Private companies have approached the government to implement the project jointly with private hospitals. The companies have assured to provide its service free for 48 hours. Considering the high vehicle density on our roads, the air-ambulance will provide a faster method to transport organs or highly critical patients. Government is also considering various possibilities for providing maximum support to organ donor&#8217;s families including financial aid.<\/p>\n<p>When the Air-Ambulance service is launched it will turn a new chapter in emergency and quality medicare in Kerala.<\/p>\n<p>The heart of Neelakantan Sharma, a native of Trivandrum declared brain-dead at Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology was recently transplanted to Mathews Achadan in Kochi.
