Motorola finally unveiled the much anticipated Moto G, 3rd generation and two new Moto X flagships – Moto X Play and Moto X Style. The Moto G 3rd gen is exclusively available on Flipkart at a starting price of Rs. 11,999.<\/p>\n

Moto G 3rd Gen<\/h3>\n

The latest Moto G features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches. The 8 GB variant has a RAM of 1GB while the 16GB model comes with 2GB RAM. The biggest additions to the smartphone compared to the last generation are 2GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor.\u00a0 It will sport the Android 5.1.1 OS along with proprietary Motorola features such as Moto Display, Quick Capture and Chop Twice.<\/p>\n

For imaging the phone uses a 13MP rear snapper with dual-LED flash and f\/2.0 lens and a 5MP front-facing camera. \u00a0The Moto G will come in the dual SIM configuration both supporting 4G LTE connectivity as well. A 2,470mAh capacity battery completes the package. The phone also features dual front speakers above and below the display.<\/p>\n

The Moto G has more significant water resistance compared to its flagship sibling, rated IPX7. That means it’s good for immersion between 15cm and 1 meter in depth.<\/p>\n

Moto X<\/h3>\n

Moto X comes in two versions: the larger, more expensive 5.7-inch Moto X Style and the smaller, more affordable 5.5-inch Moto X Play.<\/p>\n

Moto X Style<\/h4>\n

Style offers 5.7-inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) screen, a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and 3 GB of RAM. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery which can give 30 hours Motorola. It will be out in September with 32 GB or 64 GB of storage. A microSD card slot is included.<\/p>\n

Moto X Play<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Play version of the Moto X cuts back on some of the top-end specs and concentrates on day-to-day use. It sports a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and has an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. It is powered by a 3,630 mAh battery that gives two days of use on a single charge. Storage options are 16 GB or 32 GB and again that can be expanded via microSD card. It goes on sale in August.<\/p>\n

The Moto X is water and dust-resistant to some degree with IP52 rating (protected against water sprays less than 15 degrees from vertical, along with dust ingress).<\/p>\n
