Soon ultra-modern environment friendly bus shelters will come up at Aruvikkara, said\u00a0 K.S. Sabarinadhan, MLA.<\/p>\n
The smart bus shelters will be set up at five spots in the Aruvikkara Assembly constituency. In a statement here, Mr. Sabarinadhan said this would be the first phase of a project to set up smart bus shelters in the constituency. The project will be implemented using local area development funds of the MLA.<\/p>\n
Bus Shelter will CCTV, Radio and Charging station to charge mobile phones and laptops.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The five spots where Smart bus shelter will come up are Aruvikkara High School junction, Vellanadu Panchayat Office junction, Kattakada Christian College junction, Poovachal Panchayat Office junction and Vithura Kalunku junction.<\/p>\n
In the second phase more smart bus shelters will be constructed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The smart bus shelters will be equipped with CCTV cameras, which would be connected to the nearest police station, mobile charging station for mobile phones as well as tablets and even laptops, magazine\/newspaper kiosks for people to read news while waiting for the bus and FM Radio music from 6AM to 6PM. That’s not all, Smart bus shelters will also have 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity.<\/p>\n
For landscaping Mexican grass lawn will be used and Royal Palm and Golden Cypress trees will provide shade. The smart bus shelters will be aesthetically designed to provide maximum comfort for the people.<\/p>\n
