The IT hub, with 40,000 IT professionals, functions 24 hours and produces three tonnes of solid waste every day. Now with the new centralised waste management plant, Technopark can dispose the waste in an eco-friendly, economically viable manner.

Biobins, Source: Manorama Online Chuttuvattom

The integrated waste management system has biogas plants, bio bins, incinerator, plastic shredding unit, etc. to treat all types of wastes at the source level itself.
