The city police earlier had announced that all rickshaws having legal city permits will be uniformly coloured by November 1. However, the announcement of elections coupled with practical difficulties in implementing the project had delayed the same for the next week.<\/p>\n

Sources said that the colour code would only be implemented in phases.
