By January, there will be a new pre-paid taxi service at Trivandrum Central and Ernakulam with the assistance of the State police.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Executive lounges that provide airport lounge-like facilities will be launched in Trivandrum and Ernakulam.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Executive lounges that provide airport lounge-like facilities will be launched in Trivandrum and Ernakulam. <a href=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/executive-lounges-at-trivandrum-and-ernakulam-railway-stations\/\" target=\"_blank\">Executive lounge<\/a> will come up at the old booking office at the Trivandrum Central station. The lounge will provide a string of airport-like facilities, including wash and change, Wi-Fi, Internet, Live TV, music channels, buffet services, newspaper\/bookstand, luggage racks, shoe shiner, train information system etc. Two more escalators will come up at Trivandrum Central in addition to two lifts at the station.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Two more escalators will come up at Trivandrum Central Station soon.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Onboard cleaning of trains in the air conditioned coaches will be extended to 8 more trains originating from Trivandrum Central. LED signboards could also be installed soon<\/p>\n<p>The stations under Trivandrum Railway Division will also get some new projects. Parking facilities would be offered at Ernakulam Junction, Ernakulam town, Aluva, Thrissur, Kottayam. The railway authorities had decided to rope in Kudumbasree for parking management. Medical facilities would be offered at Ernakulam Junction, Thrissur and Nagercoil.
