TRIDA is all set to launch key infrastructural development projects worth over Rs.150 crore in the capital. Parking facilities, rehabilitation of displaced traders, multi-purpose auditorium are some of the key projects proposed by TRIDA.<\/p>\n
A six-storey building will be constructed behind the Saphalyam Shopping Complex with a floor area of 20,000 sq. m to alleviate parking problems. When the Rs.35-crore<\/strong> project is completed, it is expected to accommodate 300 cars, besides numerous two-wheelers. A portion of the proposed building will be reserved for commercial activities.<\/p>\n TRIDA is going to construct a multipurpose facility on a plot of 2.4 acres within the Technopark premises.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n TRIDA is also planning to construct a 9-storey building at Panjapura Junction at an estimated cost of Rs.21 crore. Two floors will be reserved for vehicle parking, while an equal number will be used for rehabilitating displaced traders. The top three floors will be developed for residential purposes and portions in the remaining two floors will be allotted to certain government offices and organizations.<\/p>\n According to the sources, TRIDA is going to construct a multipurpose facility on a plot of 2.4 acres within the Technopark premises. The project includes a ladies hostel, commercial complex, parking plaza and a bus stand. Already administrative sanction has been given to build the bus stand and a parking complex. The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs.20 crore.<\/p>\n The multipurpose auditorium will have the capacity to accommodate 3,000 persons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Another project TRIDA is planning to launch is the multipurpose auditorium at Erumakuzhy at Chalai. The building will come up on a plot of five-and-a-half acres, owned by the TRIDA at a cost of Rs.35 crore. The multipurpose auditorium will have the capacity to accommodate 3,000 persons.
