As per the plan, a walkway, ticket counter, toilet block, watch tower, gate and gate house will be constructed. Children\u2019s play area with necessary recreational equipment will be setup along with landscaping and beautification.\u00a0 Electrification with solar panelling, water supply, road development are the improvements planned by the Kerala tourism in the area.<\/p>\n
The Tourism Department is also planning to launch adventure tourism in the area and a boat service linking Perumathura, Kadinamkulam, Pulimootil Kadavu at Chirayinkeezhu, Akathumuri and Kappil Lake.<\/p>\n

Though the department sought administrative sanction for the Rs.4.61-crore scheme, it had to be scaled down to Rs.3 crore. Harbour Engineering Department has been entrusted with the works which will be completed in two years.<\/p>\n
