Chief Minister Oommen Chandy laid the foundation stone for the bus station and a commercial complex on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The bus station and commercial complex are components of the TRIDA centre that will be established on a plot of 2.43 acres that was transferred by the Technopark. There is also a demand for constructing a comfort facility along with the bus station.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of a proper bus station near Technopark where thousands of people commute daily is a long pending demand. At present there is only a small bus waiting shed near the Technopark gate.
