The studio can now boast of a state-of-the-art Digital Intermediate (DI) studio for colouring work, a green mat studio, film vault and a Film Museum. The studio also got two new outdoor units. Actor Madhu laid the foundation stone for the proposed ‘removable and re-adjustable shooting set’, with which locations can be created as per the needs of any filmmaker.<\/p>\n

The DI studio has been set up by spending several crores and it gives the kind of perfection unmatchable in the other studios. The film vault contains the negatives of all Malayalam films which were collected from Tamil Nadu, while the film museum will showcase all the machineries used by the film industry during yesteryears. The Film Vault, will be named after the late filmmaker P Bhaskaran.<\/p>\n
