The building is named after the river Shiriya which flows from Kozhikode to Kasergode. The estimated cost of the building is <strong>Rs.268 crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Shiriya is the 9th and the biggest building which will come up in Technopark<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Shiriya will have 12 floors with a total floor area of 9lakh sq.ft. Each floor will have an area of 75,000 Sq.ft, making it the biggest building in terms of floor size. Eight floors of Shiriya will be given to IT\/ITES companies while the rest 4 floors will be given to parking. \u00a0Thanks to large floor area, a company can operate on a single floor, eliminating the need of renting multiple floors. For the sake of comparison, the buildings -Ganga and Yamuna at Technopark Phase 3 only have 27,000 s.ft in each floor. When completed Shiriya will be able to accommodate around <strong>6500<\/strong> people. M A Vahid, MLA, Kazhakkuttam and P H Kurian IAS, Principal Secretary (Industries, Electronics &amp; IT) together did the honour in the presence of Suni Chandran, Councillor, Attipra, S Ramnath, CEO Technopark and K G Girish Babu, Former CEO, Technopark. Dr. Sashi Tharoor, MP, Trivandrum, Adv.
