The answer will definitely be a big \u2018NO\u2019 from the public. The road from Palayam to Statue junction is being continuously perturbed by copious number of protests and rallies every day. The protests and rallies which ends in front of the Secretariat is creating humongous traffic blocks and thereby badly affecting the public and police officials on duty. The situation at evenings doesn\u2019t change much! Protests or activities of some organizations can be definitely seen during evening peak hours. It\u2019s very surprising to realize that all these unlawful activities happen in front state\u2019s prime building.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25820 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/news.entecity.com\/files\/2016\/03\/strike-768x431.jpg\" alt=\"strike\" width=\"742\" height=\"416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2016\/03\/strike-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/entecity.com\/news\/files\/2016\/03\/strike.jpg 1246w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 742px) 100vw, 742px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The officials openly admitted their helplessness when we contacted the traffic police station regarding this issue. The government has to take adequate actions in order to curb these activities in all major roads of the city. Another concern is the waste disposal and damage of public\/private property during these protests. The response of our government and political parties\/organizations to the court directive shows how well the state is functioning. Whoever concerned should take sufficient actions soon or else the city will be facing rigorous traffic congestions everywhere.
