Finally, it\u2019s confirmed that the structure will undergo urgent repair works next month to complete the restoration process as planned by the Museums and Zoos Department.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The structure will undergo urgent repair works next month to complete the restoration process.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The building structure and its invaluable collections were facing threat due to the lack of repair works. Leaks on the roof will be filled, water logging at some areas will be dealt with and the bird nests will be removed. The repair works are with the view that the heritage building and the collections don\u2019t suffer during the monsoon.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The building structure and its invaluable collections were facing threat due to the lack of repair works.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>John Scott, President, New York Conservation Center, who was here to prepare road map for renovation of the museum\u2019s structure and collection, stated that the repair works on roof needs to be taken special care off for the structure to be lasting. The repair works which is planned to begin in April will go on track when the Archaeology Department engineer provides an estimate.
