As proposed by the IIT panel, the HRD ministry has decided to hike the annual fees of undergraduate courses from Rs 90,000 to Rs 2,00,000. The hike in annual fees will be in effect from the next year. However, the students belonging to SC, ST, economically backward families (annual income less than 1 lakh), and differently abled section are availed with an entire fee waiver.<\/p>\n
