The centers which were established in all districts rose to prominence in a short span of time. 40.28 lakh transactions were recorded in the year 2006-07, which descended to 20.69 lakh<\/strong> transactions by the year 2013-14. Tough competition from Akshaya centres and other e-governance services has been the cited as the cause for the decline in number of transactions. Setting up of fast track counters by the motor vehicles department to handle their services has been another setback for them.<\/p>\n
