\u201cGood food with comforting music\u201d, that will be the experience you feel at \u2018Caf\u00e9 Unplugged\u2019. Caf\u00e9 Unplugged, the new endeavor started by Nandita Nair gives a pleasant experience with succulent food and relaxing music.<\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9 Unplugged is the latest addition to eateries providing top food in the city. Nandita left her job as an accountant to fulfill her dream.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always wanted to start something of my own, that gives a feeling of independency to us. I was never interested in starting a boutique or beauty parlour. I\u2019m a great foodie and enthusiastic cook, so my interest was always in opening an eatery which serves excellent food with accompanying music. I had done a lot of research before getting into this and realized that the city folks love to be anywhere which serves delicious food\u201d, she says.<\/p>\n

You won\u2019t find an overloaded menu here. Though you can find burgers and sandwiches here, the chief attraction of this caf\u00e9 is the mouthwatering \u2018Kati Rolls\u2019. Currently, chicken and paneer rolls are being served here. The presence of \u2018slush\u2019 and \u2018floats\u2019 gives a cool feeling to the visitors.<\/p>\n

The place provides the right ambience for a chat over a coffee.\u201cBurgers and other junk foods are available in most of the outlets here. I was born and raised in Kolkata, which presented an addiction to kati rolls. Not planning to expand the menu in a big way, but varieties of kati rolls will soon feature in our menu. Fresh juices are available in every corner of the city, so though of adding the effect of slush and floats in our caf\u00e9\u201d, she says.<\/p>\n

The most striking aspect of Caf\u00e9 Unplugged is an open stage. It gives an opportunity to visitors to showcase their talent. Whatever your talent is, the stage gives the best chance to perform.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have set the caf\u00e9 in the theme of music. The open stage was my cousin\u2019s idea who is a DJ. We have even planned to have performances by singers on Saturdays. So the weekends will feature a live show and it will be great if the visitors make use of this space often. There is also an option for the visitors to request their favorite songs or music to be played on. Food, a bit of music and solace will be a great combination\u201d, she adds.<\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9 Unplugged is located at Kowdiar-Ambalamukku road. Visit there soon if you wish to have a taste of kati roll and a cool slush. And don\u2019t forget to use the open stage there!
