In an interview he gave to Manorama, B. Unnikrishnan revealed some details about future of AriesPlex. He said that, three more screens will be opened in May at AriesPlex making the total number screens to six. Apart from this, the group is planning to build two more theatres in the outskirts of Trivandrum city.<\/p>\n

Unnikrishnan further said that, he is currently planning to open a restaurant in the capital city. The restaurant which will be called ‘Grandmaster’s Kitchen’ is named after his favourite film. The film maker also said that, Grandmaster’s Kitchen will be a unique restaurant with a film based theme.<\/p>\n
AriesPlex has set a new gold standard of movie experience by offering superior technology and comfort, even multiplexes don\u2019t have. It is now the most popular cinemas in the state and broke many collection record.<\/p>\n

Last year “Baahubali: The Beginning\u201d has collected the highest box office collection in India from AriesPlex Cinemas. AriesPlex has reportedly collected Rs 2.8 crore in 75 days of the film’s run and the Trivandrum Corporation is said to have received Rs 58 lakh as entertainment tax for “Baahubali” alone. This is the first time that the government has received such a huge amount as entertainment tax from a single film.<\/p>\n
