The 12-day Pineapple-Apple mela which is currently taking place at Kanakakunnu Palace grounds is fast becoming popular among the city residents.<\/p>\n
Organised by pineapple farmers association and Kudapanakkunnu Karshika Karma Sena, Pineapple-Apple mela showcases a large collection of apples and pineapples procured from various places within the country and abroad.\u00a0 Different varieties of apples and pineapple that provides distinct taste will be the highlight of the mela.<\/p>\n
The mela showcases 15 different varieties of exotic apples that are brought from various countries.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For the first time in Trivandrum, you can buy saplings of Apple which can grow in our hot climate. Saplings of Thailand apple, Red jackfruit and various varieties of Guava are also available at the mela.<\/p>\n
